Irina Karamaković completed studies of Jazz Singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and doctoral studies in Philosophy at the Institute for Jazz Research at the same University. Meanwhile, she build an impressive performing career: recorded some 15 albums, (Sandy Lopicic Orkestar, The Gitarren der Liebe, LA Big Band…), and one with her own band Songs from Kosovo, presenting old folk songs with unconventional, very contemporary arrangements. She will perform this program along with new works at this Festival for the first time in Serbia.
