Quartet Kompost 3 builds on foundations set by Miles and his funk-jazz as well as European psychedelic, discovering unique path between jazz and rock, free improvisations, vibrating keyboards and groove rhythm. Since foundation in 2009, the band released three albums, a number of singles and a vinyl remix edition, and performed at important Middle European festivals, gaining reputation as one of the most exciting young formations in Austria. They also won two very prestigious awards, the BAWAG P.S.K. Next Generation Jazz Award for 2014 and the 2014 the German Bremen Jazz Award.
