Miklós Lukács is one of the most well-known and notable cimbalom players today with a unique style combining contemporary classical music, Hungary and the Balkans folklore and contemporary jazz. He collaborated with a number of world-famous jazz performers (Charles Lloyd, Archie Shepp, Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier, Eric Harland, Uri Caine, Chico Freeman Herbie Mann, Steve Coleman…) and is a long-time member of the internationally most recognized Hungarian jazz band, the Mihály Dresch Quartet. In trio Cimbiózis he presents his compositions reflecting his diverse interests.
