The Necks http://2018.bjf.rs/en/schedule/the-necks/ Fri, 21 Sep 2018 12:33:52 +0000 http://www.bjf.rs/?post_type=schedule&p=784 The Australian cult trio The Necks make up a chemistry together that defies description in conventional terms. Their music features lengthy pieces slowly unravelling with the assistance of an unrelenting deep groove: they start their concerts from one point, slowly build an amalgam and conflict of sounds with hypnotic harmony of nothing, creating big something. Their music induces daydreaming, communicating in colours, joining extremes to the point of ecstasy, disjoining them again into one big nothing. Not entirely avant-garde, nor minimalist, nor ambient, nor jazz, the music of The Necks is a unique phenomenon in the world today.
